“Where in the WORLD is all of my money going!?” you groan to yourself as you reluctantly glance at your banking account.

Here come those all-too-familiar, uncomfortably painful feelings: failure and shame.

Why? Because your next paycheck won’t land for another two weeks, and you’re already running low on funds.

Again.

On paper, you make good money -- maybe even more than your parents brought in!

You’ve worked hard to get where you are. You’re smart. You’re driven. You hustled to get that education, and you put in SO much time and effort when it comes to your career.

But based on the state of your money right now, you wouldn’t know it.

That makes your financial situation all the more frustrating.

Like most other members of our generation, you probably have some student loan and credit card debt. Rent, transportation and those miscellaneous expenses aren’t getting any cheaper, either.

And let’s be honest -- you like nice things! You work hard -- what’s so wrong with wanting to treat yourself to an outfit that makes you feel like Beyonce, an elegant dinner out, or a relaxing weekend away with friends every now and then?

But.

You’re so over having to resort to credit cards for essential purchases because it always seems like you have more month than money.

You’re tired of being hit with that punch in the gut every time you look at your checking account balance and wondering, “What happened here? I JUST got paid this week…”

And a retirement account? You know you need one, but, ummm, you don’t even have a short-term emergency fund yet, much less a plan in place for the long haul.

There’s so much you want to do, but you just can’t afford it.

Imagine how great it would feel if you could...

✓ Say goodbye to your financial stress
✓ Stop feeling like you never have enough money
✓ Leave relying on credit cards for everyday essentials in the past
✓ Find a system that makes it easy to know what bills to pay when
✓ Build a budget that works WITH you to meet your unique short-term and long-term goals
✓ Get simple strategies for savings, retirement, and debt repayment
✓ Build or repair your credit - Finally, be able to afford to go on vacation
✓ Buy your dream home
✓ Feel hopeful and excited about your financial future
✓ Set -- and actually accomplish -- money goals

The 3 real beliefs that are keeping you spinning on the hamster wheel of debt, inadequacy, and scarcity:

#01

“I’m never going to have enough money.”

A huge part of achieving long-term financial success is your mindset about money. You are totally not alone if living paycheck to paycheck is leaving you feeling like there’s never enough. BUT. If you feel like you make good money “on paper” but never have enough for your actual life, you probably don’t have a money problem -- you have a budgeting problem.

Also? If you’re ever going to get out of this constant feeling of lack, it’s essential to rewrite your negative money stories and replace them with positive money stories. Big shifts happen when you’re ready to take ownership.

#02

“I’m never going to be able to have the lifestyle I want and manage my money properly.”

You don’t need a trust fund, a rich auntie, or a boyfriend with a house in the Hamptons in order to be able to have the lifestyle you want. I promise.

The way you’re living right now -- relying on your credit cards to get you through the month, feeling weighed down by your debt, stressing over your lack of an emergency fund, envying your friends when they buy gorgeous houses, and resenting your colleagues for their fancy vacations -- it’s so easy to feel like there’s never enough. I get it!

But once you start to see progress when it comes to shifting your mindset, fixing your budget, paying off your debt, having money left in your account, and being able to spend money on the things you want? That “I’ll never be able to earn enough for the life I want” feeling is going to melt away.

#03

"Nothing works for me long-term.”

You’re a smart person and a quick learner -- that’s why you’ve read just about everything money-related you can get your hands on. You’ve even tried a few recommendations from popular money gurus. While you saw some minor improvement in the short-term, nothing really stuck long-term.

The truth is, mastering your finances takes consistent, ongoing maintenance. Your budget and your goals will require regular tracking, check-ins, and updates. If you want your money strategy to work long-term, you have to take action and stick with it long-term.

Hey, Hey, Hey!

I'm Nikkia Carter

Creator of Money Reset, Money Coach & Budgeting Expert

Women come to me when they’re ready to elevate their lifestyles and get clear on their money goals.

Instead of keeping up with the Joneses, I teach them how to be the Joneses -- all with a simple plan that makes the impossible possible. The women I work with go from anxious and burdened with debt to saving more than ever while still taking vacations, living in their dream homes, and rewriting their family’s money legacy.

My interest in money started back when I was 18. I tried to rent an apartment and was denied for having terrible credit.

From there, I became an unstoppable research machine. I read and tried everything I could get my hands on. I learned that so many people -- especially young, Black women like me -- don’t have the necessary foundations to maintain the lifestyles we want. We work hard and we like nice things… and so many of us are never taught how to manage our money.

Discipline was not the issue. People like me simply needed a realistic blueprint.

So I got to work creating my own fun, easy-to-follow plan for budgeting and money management with certain pillars designed to decrease anxiety and increase stability: budgeting, debt repayment, savings, and homeownership.

It worked… and it continues to work. Over the past decade, I...

✓ Went from having a credit score of 450 and living with my mom at age 18 to being a first-time homeowner at the age of 23
✓ Paid off more than $185k in consumer debt
✓ Bounced back from medical bankruptcy
✓ Earned an MBA and Master's in Communication
✓ Raised my credit score to 750
✓ Bought my Dream Home

What sets me apart? I’ve truly lived this. I don’t have a sponsor, and I’m not some finance bro -- I’m a regular person, just like you. But here’s the really exciting part: when friends and family noticed my success and started asking for tips and tricks, I noticed that my system worked for them, too.

To date, I’ve taught online and in-person money workshops for over 100 families. Now, I’m bringing the opportunity to see inside of this simple, sustainable system to you, too.

Say What!? Real Results from Past Students

“I grew up seeing my parents make terrible decisions and I also made bad choices in my 20's. Nikkia's course was the push and clarification I needed. I especially liked the shell method. Nikkia's course took the thorns out of managing my finances and taught me that it can be an easy process with the right system in place. At 35, I closed on my first home in December 2019 and I couldn't be happier. This course was def worth the money!”

- Jessica J.

“My experience... is changing my entire family’s life. I have been in the workforce for 20 years and never felt like I wasn't living check to check, although I know I am making more money. This course is buying me a house, taking my family on vacations, helping me to cover health expenses, and finding ways to make my money work for me. Although it has a price tag it is truly priceless… Changing someone’s way of thinking on something can be hard but most times it’s worth it to get them to see the light and I feel like someone finally helped me see some of that light.”

- Kesha M.

“I didn't realize how much my personal goals were weighing on me. After taking this course I'm confident and clear now more than ever on how to achieve my money goals. The big financial goals I've dreamt about for years seem so attainable and realistic now. ”

- Keyonna P.

“I highly recommend Ms. Nikkia Carter. I participated in her "Budgeting" class. All I can say is "minimal investment - maximum results." She is very knowledgeable and her delivery was easy to follow as she offered multiple options and addressed how to modify the information to get the most positive results for your personal situation.”

- Mollie D.

“My husband and I joined a First Fruit virtual budgeting seminar in 2018. We were in the middle of financial chaos. The tips that Mrs. Carter taught us gave us a new lease on life, to say the least. Mrs. Carter’s energy was so motivating and her tips were easy to follow. We left that seminar and immediately started getting our finances in order. Fast- forward to 2020 and we are now able to start the home buying process and we have a savings. Thank you Mrs. Carter!”
